A large meteorite exploded over the Ural Mountains this morning (2/15/13).  As of this moment (9:30am) over 950 people have been reported injured.  A 20 ft wide crater has been found.

Pete Seeger, one of the titans of 20th Century music, has passed away too soon at age 94.  Musician, activist, teacher, environmentalist, nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize.  A great human being.

James Albury, our Planetarium director, came into the X Building on 12/7/15, to say that we would be able to see the Moon and Venus a bit before 12:30pm, and I was able to get some great photos of Venus as the Moon moved in front of it.
